A small beach town between Jupiter and North Palm Beach, known for its pier and one of the busiest sea turtle nesting beaches in the world.
Overview
A quiet beach town with a big turtle story
Juno Beach is a town of about 3,900 people on the Atlantic coast, between Jupiter to the north and North Palm Beach to the south. It was incorporated in 1953.
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a sea turtle hospital, research and education center, sits in Loggerhead Park on US-1 and also runs the Juno Beach Pier across the street. The current pier, 990 feet long, opened in 1999 after a storm destroyed the original.
Most homes are condos along the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, with streets of single-family homes and the Waterford life care community. Florida Power & Light has its headquarters in town.
