Overview

Port city on the Lake Worth Lagoon

Riviera Beach is a city of about 37,600 people just north of West Palm Beach. It was incorporated as the Town of Riviera in 1922, added Beach to its name in 1941 and became a city in 1959.

The Port of Palm Beach is in the city, along with a U.S. Coast Guard station and Riviera Beach Marina Village, where water taxis leave for Peanut Island. The eastern part of the city covers most of Singer Island, across the Lake Worth Lagoon.

Homes range from single-family neighborhoods and townhomes on the mainland to waterfront homes on the lagoon and oceanfront condos on the Singer Island side.
